Gaylor Peak



Bill and I had last done this hike up Gaylor Peak, together with Bogdan and Pauline in 2013, a year when Stella stayed home easing into a new job. I have fond memories of this earlier hike!

Back then I charged up the trail energetically in part as a demonstration to the much younger and athletic Bogdan, making a big effort to gain the summit first. But mostly to prove something to my middle-aged self. -F.
