Sierra Crack Climb

Another tough night of very little sleep, I gave up and dragged myself out of bed a half hour early around 4 in the morning, with a Body Battery reading of 37%, which would normally indicate relaxing before going to bed. We were due for a big day!

Surprisingly, we were very efficient this morning and out the door on schedule, with all of our climbing gear in the back of Bill's van. This was to be an exciting day!

We had hired Jo as our guide again, not having seen her since Crystal Crag two years ago, and were heading for a surprise she had chosen for us at a secret location South of Mammoth and North of Bishop where a friend of hers had been bolting as yet unpublished routes. Another of her friends, Cara, had volunteered to help with belaying her and cleaning routes to give us more time for climbing. -F.
