Climbing
Frank mimes the opening of the second route, a 5.8. Jo belays.
The route climbs an off-width crack to a traverse left on what looks like a hand-rail from below, but is really nothing. Jo chalked up two crimps on the traverse to another crack on the left. From there it's a short way to a small ledge for a rest. Then comes an extended face climb on slab with small crimps and edges.
Bill made it to the top, but fell off a couple times on the traverse, and on the headwall dropped off to rest and search for holds.
Stella barn-doored off as she tried to place a toe in the left crack at the end of the traverse, and also fell off of the headwall once, but then reached the anchor. -F.
