Frank in the crack.



This crack proved to be even harder, narrowing down again before opening up anew, and this part was on a slight overhang and needed to be bridged. I was very close to giving up, but decided on a big last thrust.

Somebody called up to me to try a foot jam. That should have been obvious, but after the other crack where the technique was not possible, I'd rather forgotten that it was an option. -F.
