There was further delay when Stella in a panic declared she couldn't go because she couldn't find her orthopedic insoles, and a comprehensive search began. When I reached into the trail runners she uses as outdoor belay and approach shoes sitting by the front door, there they were! She hadn't recognized them in this environment. We got out the door! -F.
