Convict Canyon



Stella planned this route. Neither Bill nor I had done our usual amount of planning in anticipation of the trip, but Stella jumped into the breach -F.

I wanted a nearby hike that would be long and scenic enough to be fun, but not so strenuous as to wear us out. Convict Creek Trail promised to be scenic, with a good view of the Sevehah Cliffs. There was also the intriguing possibility of scrambling up Laurel Mountain. -S.
