Convict Canyon



It's been a nice, pleasant hike, but I'm tired now. It seems too tired for the distance. Are we old now, old and slow? Or am I making excuses for my laziness? It's getting hard, and hard to accept.

Stella finds new wind and gets far out ahead of me on the trail back around Convict Lake, and then waits for me at some random spot. We hike the rest of the way around to the parking lot together. -F.

We had a lovely day together, tired or not. -S.
