Horseshoe Slabs



The bigger problem was, that I wasn't finding placements for the cams! The cracks were shallow and flared outward. Not only could you not hand-jam, you couldn't stick gear into them! Now I was really glad I was on top-rope! After a couple of stops and searches for placements, I gave up on the trad lead idea and just climbed to the top. It felt harder than it should, physically speaking. -F.
