Convict Canyon



I crossed the stream putting my sticks aside and using hands to steady myself. Stella followed but using her sticks, and after a step, lost her balance and toppled over backwards into the water. Unhurt but for a bruised rear end, she was pretty rattled by this event. -F.

Teetered on a rock and then my butt was in the water. Silly! I worry about age-related disequilibrium (declines in balance), so this mishap damped my spirits a bit. -S.
