La Escuela
Though Bill had tried to scare us off of our intent to climb at La Escuela in Pine Creek with tales of 35°C heat - he had ridden through here yesterday and scouted out the area - we were not deterred. Jo had made the suggestion we check the place out and had even offered to come by and mentor us, if we were going to do it a day later, when she had time. But a day later we had plans for a bigger hike, and for this reason as well, Stella and I thought it better not to hike today.
It was cold! I had to borrow Stella's rain shell because expecting extreme heat I hadn't brought warm clothes along. -F.
