La Escuela
The crag featured three sport routes graded 5.5, and I felt confident I would be able to lead climb them. According to the climbers' website Mountain Project, La Escuela is "for kids and beginner lead climbers". Okay, that's me. I expected the climbing to feel next to trivial. I would lead the routes, and set up a top-rope for Stella and Bill to also climb, and we'd have a relaxed day of easy climbing. That was the plan. I chose a route named "I'll Turn This Car Around" which has a class 3 mid-section. -F.
